When rogue-for-hire Armand Lefay offered a smuggling job tied to a mysterious locked crate, Kalen didn’t say no. He brought Jasmin, a druid torn between home and adventure, and with Armand, Mika, a sharp-eyed mage with secrets of her own.

The job was supposed to be clean. Instead, it ended in blood.

Bruul of the River Rats got too close to the truth—and Armand made a call that started a war before anyone realized they were in one. Now the River Rats are looking for answers. The trade guilds are whispering. And in the streets of Crimmor, not all crates stay closed.
